This incredible local charity supports families across the London Borough of Bromley who are going through a difficult period, helping ensure children aren’t disadvantaged by growing up in financial hardship and that parents don’t have to struggle alone to provide the basics.

Bromley Brighter Beginnings works at the heart of the community, providing essential baby, child clothing and equipment to families who need them most. Wherever possible, they pass on high-quality pre-loved items and supply new essentials such as beds and newborn packs.

In 2023, Bromley Brighter Beginnings received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service, recognising over 13 years of outstanding support for local families.

Some of their key initiatives include:

• Providing pre-loved cots, buggies, clothes and toys
• Newborn packs with essential items for babies and parents
• A Bed for Every Child, supplying new beds and bedding
• Christmas for Every Child, supporting hundreds of local families each year
