Remember the excitement of Christmas as a child? The twinkling lights, the familiar Christmas songs, the excitement of choosing presents and that magical feeling that something wonderful was just around the corner?

Some Christmas memories stay with us forever. And this year, we’d love to make a few more with you.

We’re inviting the Bromley community to celebrate the start of the festive season at The Glades!

This Christmas is extra special as we’re unveiling our brand-new Christmas decorations! Be among the first to discover our beautiful new Christmas tree, enjoy the festive atmosphere and experience a little of that childhood Christmas magic all over again.

On Sunday 15 November, bring your family and friends for a FREE afternoon of festive music, laughter, Christmas characters and surprises!

A Little Christmas Magic Awaits…

From 12pm, our five-piece Christmas Brass Band will fill the shopping centre with familiar festive tunes, bringing the joyful sounds of Christmas to life.

At 1pm, the band will gather around our Christmas tree for a special performance. You’ll also have the chance to meet and take photos with the mischievous Grinch*, the lovely Cindy Lou Who and our giant Gingerbread characters!

From 1:30pm, let the Christmas fun begin! Join us for interactive games, competitions, festive surprises and little gifts for children.

And at 2pm, it’s time for the moment we’ve all been waiting for!

Let’s gather around the tree, count down together and light up our brand-new Christmas tree as one big Bromley community!

And the Celebrations Continue…

After the switch-on, head out to Bromley High Street, where our friends at Your Bromley will keep the Christmas celebrations going with even more festive entertainment and activities for the whole family!

1pm–2pm | Christmas Tree Lights Switch-On at 2pm

Central Atrium, The Glades, Bromley

For generations, The Glades has been part of Christmas in Bromley.

Perhaps you remember coming here as a child, holding your parents’ hands and looking up at the Christmas lights in wonder. Now, you might be bringing your own little ones to experience that same magic. Or perhaps you’ve only recently made Bromley your home, and your Christmas traditions are just beginning.

However long you’ve been part of our community, there’s always room to make more Christmas memories.

Old memories, new traditions, and the magic of Christmas we share together. Let’s make lighting up the Christmas tree our Bromley tradition, year after year.
