At The Glades, we believe that giving is at the heart of the festive spirit, and this year we’re proud to launch a number of meaningful initiatives that support children, families, and local charities.
All of this is only possible thanks to you – our wonderful visitors – who help us make a real difference in Bromley and beyond.

The Giving Tree with The Chartwell Cancer Trust

Our main giving initiative returns this year to bring joy to children affected by cancer.
Visitors can choose a gift for a child or teen, purchase it from any of our retailers, and drop it off either at the Guest Service Lounge or in the donation box on the Upper Mall.
Every gift will be delivered to the children before Christmas.

One small gift. One big difference.
Your kindness truly matters.

Gift ideas include:
Educational toys, puzzles, dolls, action figures, board games, toiletries, make-up, pyjamas, dressing-up outfits, and gift vouchers (ages 1–17).

Free Gift Wrapping Station – Supporting Bromley Children & Families Forum

From 13–21 December, 11am–3pm, join us by the main Christmas tree for something truly special.

Visitors can have their Christmas gifts beautifully wrapped for free using our festive selection of papers and ribbons. Our volunteers will be on hand to wrap your presents, and in return we welcome any donations – big or small – to our Charity of the Year.

It’s a perfect win-win: leave with perfectly wrapped presents and help support a cause that matters.

Choir Performances Throughout December

Throughout December, The Glades will be filled with the sound of festive cheer as a number of local choirs perform in the centre.
Each choir will be raising money for their chosen charity, giving visitors a chance to enjoy beautiful Christmas music while supporting important local causes.
