Carluccio's

Carluccio's

When we opened the first Carluccio’s caffè our aim was to provide great quality, authentic Italian food at sensible prices. We also wanted to allow informal but excellent service to our customers. The aim remains the same today. Our heads, hands and hearts are firmly in the kitchen. It’s the Italian way, and it’s what Carluccio’s is all about.

Did you know?

Antonio Carluccio, Founder of Carluccio’s, once said, “If I could take only the basics of Italian food with me to a desert island, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose hard grained flour, tomatoes, olive oil and parmesan cheese. If I could take some flavourings I would take some basil and garlic.” A man who knew his priorities!

Wagamama

Wagamama

At wagamama we believe in the philosophy of kaizen. Kaizen means ‘good change’

‘Kaizen’, meaning ‘good change’ is the philosophy that sits right at our heart. It shapes every dish we create, and pushes us to find better ways in all that we do. We’re restless spirits. Forever creating and making things better.

We’ve been practising kaizen since 1992, when we opened our first doors in London’s bloomsbury. Inspired by fast-paced, Japanese ramen bars and a celebration of asian food, wagamama burst into life. We set out to create a unique way of eating. Bringing the fresh, nourishing, flavours of Asia to all.

That was 25 years ago now. Two whole decades to sharpen skills and refine recipes. To play with spices and discover tastes. We continue to get better with every day.
