Strike out with The Glades’ new bowling alley this autumn

It’s time to roll on over to The Glades, as the shopping centre is about to hit Bromley with another curve ball activity for the whole family! Get ready for a brilliant bowling alley and arcade games bonanza at Strike Night.

Join The Glades’ gutter gang and get bowled over by the exciting launch this Thursday, 17 October – from 4pm until 9pm – with the free entertainment continuing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 9 November.

Strike Night is suitable for all ages and offers a great opportunity to stir up some healthy competition between families and friends, and the loser can treat everyone at the Restaurant Terrace afterwards.

To gain entry, event-goers simply need to sign in at the central mall and then the fun begins when trying to keep those balls in check. There’s only one opportunity to roll for a strike, so the best bowlers in town will really have their skills put to the test. Those that do knock all the pins down will have the chance to scoop a gift card worth anything from £20 up to £100 to spend at the shopping centre.

There will also be retro-style arcade games coming to the upper mall, complete with old-school favourites like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and more.

Mark Haynes, Director of The Glades, promises that visitors will have an ‘un-bowlievable’ time at the new alley and arcades. “We are back with another super exciting activity that will inject a bit of fun into the dark autumn evenings, providing wholesome family entertainment and a smashing evening for groups of friends – although fair warning, it can get competitive.

“We’re so happy to be able to offer this completely free event that will bring people together. Strike Night underpins our ambition to become the go-to destination where shopping, dining, entertainment and the good times roll. We hope Strike Night will be a big hit in Bromley.”

The Glades’ Strike Night launches on Thursday 17 October, and it will be open from 4pm to 9pm on Thursdays and 4pm until 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays until Saturday 9 November.
