To celebrate the recent opening of the Crystal Palace Football Club store at The Glades Shopping Centre, players will be meeting and greeting fans on Bonfire Night.
The Glades has given Crystal Palace fans cause for a double celebration by bringing a new club store to town and, on Tuesday, 5 November, hosting members from the first team and women’s squad, who will be making a special appearance between 4pm and 5pm.
Fan favourites will be signing official merchandise and posing for photos with loyal supporters in the unit next door to the new store by Holland & Barrett. Club mascots Pete and Alice will be on-hand to entertain any young Eagles, and cheerleaders The Crystals will also be in attendance.
Mark Haynes, Director of The Glades, said the new shop is a great addition to the shopping centre’s line-up. “It’s wonderful to have Crystal Palace joining us at The Glades, as there are so many fans here in Bromley and now, they have access to a brilliant selection of products.
“The lads have enjoyed a really strong season, so the signing event is set to be the icing on the cake. We encourage people to arrive in plenty of time, as we are expecting queues. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the team to The Glades and hope that everyone has a wonderful time with us.”
Mike Pink, Head of Consumer Sales at Crystal Palace Football Club, commented: “We’re delighted to have opened a new store in The Glades Shopping Centre. It’s right that we’re located here, in one of the five South London boroughs we represent, and where many of our fans live.
“To celebrate this, we’re pleased to welcome members of our first team squad down to meet the fans on Tuesday, who’ll hopefully get a chance to get their pictures taken and autographs from players in the famous red and blue shirt from the new shop”.
